We are a dedicated, family-operated program committed to the advancement of Australian Shepherds and Miniature American Shepherds. With over 42 years of breeding experience, Tango’s is built on a foundation of passion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. As a professional breeder, I have spent nearly two decades refining what it means to raise the "whole dog".
We are passionate about what we do, and we believe our dogs and our clients deserve nothing but the best. Our dogs live with us in our home, ensuring every dog receives the love, attention, and "luxury" life they deserve.
We chose the Aussie and Miniature American Shepherd because they are the ultimate partners—unmatched in intelligence, devotion to their families, and exquisite beauty.

OUR STORY
My journey began in 1984, fueled by a lifelong love for the breed that started when I was an only child. What began as a passion project has evolved into a sophisticated, performance-driven program. At Tango’s, our mission is simple: to continually improve the breed by focusing on temperament, health, and elite athletic ability.
Our breeding program is built on proven champion bloodlines. Today, our dogs are not just companions; they are high-achieving athletes. Our current dam is a star in the AKC show ring, and many of our dogs are proven performers in sports and FastCAT competitions.
We believe that true beauty starts from within. Beyond the show-quality build and movement, we are rigorous about health. Every dog in our program undergoes comprehensive testing—including hip, elbow, heart, and eye clearances—to ensure the longevity and vitality of every puppy we produce. From our roots in 1998 to our current focus on elite performance and our specialized stud service program, Tango’s is dedicated to raising puppies that are as brilliant in the ring as they are in the home.

As a small hobby breeder, we are dedicated to preserving and improving the Australian Shepherd and Miniature American Shepherd breeds through careful selection, loving home environments, top-quality nutrition, and outstanding veterinary care. Our puppies are raised in our home with daily love, attention, and socialization to prepare them to become loyal, confident, and loving family companions.
